Why thinking about Imposter Phenomenon actually helps

Too often, we trick ourselves into thinking that "out of sight, out of mind" is an effective way to deal with hard things at work, like feelings of Imposter Phenomenon. We're told to "fake it 'til we make it" and to never let on to the fact that we're struggling.
